Know The Founder

I was born in Baidyanathdham, Jharkhand — a sacred town known for the famous Baba Baidyanath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Growing up in a place filled with spirituality, devotion, and culture shaped the way I see life. The energy of the temple, the simplicity of the people, and the values of faith and hard work became a part of me from a very young age.

Before stepping into the world of business, cricket was my first dream. I played cricket at the state level in under-14, under-16, and under-19 age group. For years, cricket was everything to me. Early morning practice sessions, traveling for matches, learning discipline, handling pressure, and dreaming big taught me lessons that still guide me today. But sometimes life has different plans. Despite giving my best, things did not go the way I had hoped.

That phase was difficult, but it changed me in many ways. Sometimes one dream ends only to make space for another.

To continue my studies and explore new opportunities, I moved to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to pursue my MBA in Marketing. During my research and learning journey, I discovered something that truly shocked me — the incredible craftsmanship of local jewellery artisans. The level of detailing, artistry, patience, and creativity in their work was absolutely world-class.

But what surprised me even more was that these artisans remained behind the scenes.

The people creating these beautiful jewellery pieces were rarely known. They were the silent heroes — craftsmen whose talent deserved recognition far beyond local markets. Their work carried culture, tradition, and generations of skill, yet many of them never received the spotlight they truly deserved.

That realization became the foundation of Milsun.

Many people ask me what “Milsun” means. The name is very personal to me because it comes from my parents. “Mil” is taken from my mother’s name, Millee, and “Sun” comes from my father’s name, Sunil. Combining their names created “Milsun” — a brand built on family, dreams, and values.

I started Milsun with one simple mission: to celebrate the work of local jewellery artisans and take their craftsmanship from villages to the world. I don’t just want to build a jewellery brand; I want to build a platform that gives recognition to the hands behind the art.

For me, jewellery is not only about fashion. Every piece carries emotion, heritage, craftsmanship, and human effort. Behind every design is an artisan with a story, a family, and a dream.

Today, Milsun represents that dream — a bridge between traditional Indian artistry and modern global fashion.

And somewhere inside me, I still carry the heart of the boy who once dreamed on a cricket field. Maybe that’s why one line from my favorite song has always stayed close to me:

🎵“Chand taare tod laaun, saari duniya par main chhaun, bas itna sa khwaab hai.”🎵

Maybe dreams change with time, but they never truly disappear.
